Our Story
Eye 2 Eye Vision Center was opened in 2010 as primarily a “vision exam only” office by the previous owner. The practice was bought by Dr. Bouton in 2012 and has quickly become one of the most successful practices in the area. Dr. Swetland, who previously practiced in a hospital-based setting, joined the practice in March 2021. She specializes in specialty fit contact lenses as well as dry eye disease treatment.
It is our goal to become the most comprehensive and elite clinic. We strive to provide our patients with the best vision and eye health examinations, using the most advanced medical equipment, all while providing excellent customer service.

Every decision and every action taken by both Drs. Bouton and Swetland as well as our staff is aimed toward achieving this goal. Dr. Brian Bouton
Optometrist
Our Optometrist, Dr. Brian Bouton, specializes in providing comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, foreign body removal, treatment of medical eye problems such as red eye, allergies, dry eyes, and glaucoma.
Dr. Beth Swetland
Optometrist
Dr. Swetland has 20 years experience in optometric patient care, with special interest in medical optometry. She was a staff physician at Loyola University Center for Health, Gottlieb Campus, for over 15 years. She is a published author and has performed many lectures. Along with providing comprehensive eye examinations, Dr. Swetland also treats acute eye problems such as red eyes, foreign body removal, diabetic eye care and dry eye syndrome.
